April 9 – Healthy Holiday
The contents of this fruit bowl filled up the Easter basket Dustin and I received from my parents. With the pictured fruit came strawberries, grapes, fiber bars and just a smidgen of chocolate.
It’s not the collection of peeps, Reece’s eggs, chocolate bunnies and jelly beans typically found in Easter baskets.
Dustin and I have been trying to cut back our sugar intake after an April 1, “60 Minutes” segment “Is sugar toxic?”, described the serious toll sugar can take on your health.
I love sugar. It’s not been an easy transition.
Just in the week we’ve been cutting back I feel healthier and I’m craving less sweets.
