He gambled away his $4.

29 Mar

March 28 – He gambled away his $4.

Dustin bought his first lottery ticket yesterday.

There’s the possiblity of winning $500 million, and he thought this was a good time. But, before he bought the ticket he said he didn’t want to win.

He’d thought about all the ways he could spend his winnings — new cars, new clothes, a life filled with luxury. Winning the lottery would change our life drastically.

But, he said he likes our life the way it is.

We have God. We have each other. We have family, and we have friends.

We know that money is not most important. Having a lot of money would probably distract us from what is important.

It’s nice to know that you wouldn’t drastically change your life if you could.

With all that said, I’m still not sure why he bought the ticket to begin with. I picked a strange one.

I love my life but a few extra million pounds wouldn’t hurt haha :). Maybe he bought the ticket more for the thrill than to actually win? I don’t know! xx
